An overview of events in reservie — what they are, how they work, and how to manage them.

Overview

Events are the core building block of reservie. An event represents any class, workshop, retreat, or session that your customers can book and attend. Events can be one-off or have multiple dates, and can be held in person or online.

Events are managed from Services > Events in the sidebar menu.

Event types

When creating an event, you choose one of three types:

TypeDescription
PhysicalFor in-person events where you meet clients face to face. No virtual meeting information is sent.
VirtualFor online events. You can provide meeting links and access information that are sent to customers.
RetreatFor multi-day retreats, workshops, or immersive experiences that span multiple days. (Coming soon)

Key features

Event list

The main Events page displays all your events in a searchable table with Live and Archived tabs. You can switch between Event View (table) and Calendar view.

Each event entry shows the event ID, name, next date, number of dates, and an actions menu.

Event editor

Events are created and edited using a guided 7-step wizard:

  1. Select Event Type — Physical, Virtual, or Retreat
  2. Event Details — Name, description, and waiting list
  3. Event Scheduling — Add dates manually or automatically (weekly/monthly)
  4. Booking & Payment Options — Booking type, payment methods, pricing, vouchers, and payment rules
  5. Event Notifications (optional) — Override default notification templates
  6. Additional Options (optional) — Categories, facilitator, location, and terms
  7. Event Summary — Review and save

Event register

Each event date has a register page showing attendees, waiting list, cancelled bookings, and emails sent. From the register you can book customers manually, export data (Print, CSV, PDF), and contact attendees.
